20.07.2005 - 8:43 p.m. CST I don't know why I thought orientation would last for six hours lol. It was only two hours, but still... it's hard for me to just sit there that long (which is why I'm suprised I could even make it through summer school). I start working officially tomorrow. I don't know what exactly I will be doing, but I'm sure that during most of those seven hours I will be busy setting up clothes on the racks and what not. Did I already mention that I was working in the clothes section? The store officially opens on Labor Day. Yes, I will be working that day. What else? Oh... I almost died today... literally. Well, I was driving down the access road heading towards the highway when this car out of nowhere was coming out from a parking lot. I hit my breaks, which wasn't enough... so I swirved into the grass and got my car back on the road, but then I did a 180 spin and the car went back into the grass between the highway and the access road. If it wasn't for my car somehow going into neutral in the grass, I would've ended up in a coffin (no kidding) since my car would've went straight onto the highway in the opposite direction. That was the scariest moment of my life. Then the woman in the other car came over and said she didn't see me yadda yadda... I survived, that's enough.
